Zaneb Chaudhry

Zaneb Chaudhry is a fourth-year undergraduate student at Ontario Tech University majoring in Biological Sciences, with a specialization in Life Sciences. At the beginning of 2023, Zaneb worked in Dr. Desaulniers’ lab, where she assisted in performing assays to explore the relationship between siRNA and saRNA. Zaneb has now returned for the 2023-2024 school year to conduct her thesis, where she will be further investigating the effects of gene-silencing siRNAs on gene targets. Outside the lab, Zaneb enjoys travelling, baking, and long naps.

Keegan Howden

Keegan Howden was born in Whitby, Ontario and has lived there his entire life. He is completing an undergraduate in forensic science specializing in forensic chemistry. He has a love for biochemistry and organic chemistry and is excited to complete a thesis project supervised by Dr. Desaulniers. When he's not at school or at work, he loves spending time paddle boarding, skiing, playing music, and spending time with his dog Motley.

Anumol Joshy

Anumol Joshy (Anu) was born in Kerala, India and moved to Toronto when she was 11 years old. She is currently in her fourth year of undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at Ontario Tech. She has an interest in cancer cells and is super excited to work on examining the effect of RNAs on HeLa cells with Virginia and Dr. Desaulniers. At off times, Anu enjoys sketching, listening to music and dancing. A fun fact about Anu is that she is bilingual.
